The building "Marago" designed by Jerzy Liśniewicz, constructed between 1958 and 1960, is one of the first in Poznań and at the same time a very successful example of mature modernism. The main body from the side of Zwierzyniecka Street stylistically references the architecture of Le Corbusier. The side wing, with a distinctly simpler form, serves as a connector to the façade on Mickiewicza Street. In 2004-2005, a reconstruction of this wing was carried out, giving it a new appearance. The concept of the extension, realized in a similar style with an emphasis on retracted, horizontal divisions, enriches the building in the corner view while maintaining its character.
