The T-shaped building was constructed between 1937 and 1942. In 1926, the cornerstone for the central building of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry was laid. The project was never realized. It was not until 1937 that construction of the building began, funded by a donation from August Cieszkowski to the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Life Sciences. The outbreak of war interrupted the work. The German occupiers completed the construction in 1942. Therefore, the building gained elements of Tyrolean style in its external decor as well as in the interiors. To this day, only a few elements of the original decor have been preserved inside the building, including a marble floor in the hall, brick floors in the corridors, and a few stuccos, ceilings adorned with plant motifs, and colorful bas-reliefs depicting rural themes. The ground floor hall was renovated according to a design by Jan Pałczyński. The work was completed in 2009. The interior design covered the remaining part of the building.
