The main goal of the project is to create comfortable working conditions for 250 employees. The building is located in an industrial area surrounded by a logistics base along a fast traffic route. The aim of the project is to create a modern, uniform facility that meets office functions, designed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The building is expected to consume 25% less energy than required by regulations. The use of radiant ceiling heating reduces energy demand by 5-10%. The flat installation will cool in summer and heat in winter powered by ground-source heat pumps. The recovery system utilizes heat produced by HVAC installations. The building is designed to reduce the use of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation in favor of natural ventilation. The green roof provides better thermal insulation for the building, reducing energy consumption for air conditioning in summer and creating a snow cushion that improves energy balance in winter. The green roof also reduces rainwater runoff. The building features sun protection glazing with high light transmittance, low solar energy transmittance, and good thermal insulation. The glass is additionally protected from solar radiation by an effective system of external horizontal blinds. Hanging gardens, besides improving the working environment, serve as natural thermal insulation. The green roof and hanging gardens are equipped with irrigation systems that supply water and mineral nutrients to the plants. Collected rainwater is stored in a retention tank and is later used for irrigation of greenery on the building and its surroundings. The building, thanks to the appropriate depth of office areas and its positioning relative to the cardinal directions, maximizes natural daylight usage. There are plans for partial use of materials generated from the processing of secondary raw materials for construction. Finishing materials are selected to be recyclable.
