The project for a new wing of the scientific and educational building of the Faculty of Horticulture at the Poznań University of Life Sciences complements the existing complex of educational buildings. The form of the building, the proportions of the windows, the color scheme, and the details refer to the main complex of buildings from Dąbrowskiego Street. From Botaniczna Street, the building is connected to the existing structures by a glass link. On the garden side, the building takes advantage of the natural slope of the terrain. The protruding ground floor forms a gradual transition of the building into the experimental cultivation space. Laboratories and lecture rooms are located in this part of the building, with windows overlooking the cultivated and grown plants area. The offices for academic staff, doctoral students, and administration are located on the upper floors. The building is designed to be energy-efficient, optimizing the internal space use. External blinds have been installed on the windows to protect the rooms from excessive overheating.
